Comment: I am writing to give Dave Ferguson at Open Skies Avionics the highest rating and recommendation. I am newly based at SRQ and was in need of a STOL kit installation on my C182TW. Dave quickly understood the engineering involved. Dave organized and managed every detail of the project including painting. Midway during the project, I decided to reskin a flap. This was not a problem.
The entire project was done professionally and without flaw. Many shops could charge “an arm and a leg” for the work. I am happy to say that I found the price very reasonable.
If you’re looking for quality work, completed in a time manner at a reasonable price-you won’t be disappointed with Open Skies Avionics and Maintenance!
